Note on data protection of the exchange and action platform (Platform) www.fairpartners.com operated by Fairpartners GmbH
By entering your personal data and with the express confirmation of your consent given by mouse click during your registration as a utilizer or user on the Platform, you declare your agreement to Fairpartners processing and using your personal data for the performance and management of the Platform services offered by Fairpartners and for other purposes stated below.
2 Revocation and objection
You can naturally object to the use of your personal data at any time or revoke your consent with effect for the future. Please refer to email@example.com for this.
3 Collection and processing of your data
You can visit the public area of our Platform without stating any of your personal details. If you wish to register as a utilizer and/or user or make use of certain functions of our Platform, personal data will be collected. Detailed information about the nature and scope of the data collection can be found on the relevant input pages of the Platform.
3.1 Use of your data
We use the data communicated by you exclusively for our own purposes or for initiating or handling contracts initiated or concluded via the Platform. We inform you about this by e-mail, among other things.
3.2 Disclosure of your data
For the purpose of order handling and if necessary, your data will be communicated to other companies (utilizers) and users taking part, e.g., to buyers and sellers. Utilizers are contractually obliged to also process the data transferred via the Platform exclusively in a purpose-related manner in conformity with the law and to require their responsible users to observe their contractual obligation under data protection law.
Outside Germany, Fairpartners can make use of the help of federations, associations and companies (national partners) in the countries in question for performing its tasks. If the registered office of your company is in another country, you declare your agreement with the communication of your registration and master data to the national partner of Fairpartners concerned. Personal data is always transferred to EU countries or to countries for which the EU Commission has made a binding statement regarding the acceptability of the data protection standard there.
Furthermore, we do not give your personal data to external third parties if there is no official obligation in force for this or you have not expressly given your additional consent to such.
Fairpartners is currently using temporary cookies (session cookies and cookies with a defined life of max. 1 year) to make the Internet services of the Platform user-friendly and more effective and safer. The data records of the cookies do not contain any personal information. They are not put together with any personal data provided by you.
You can adjust your browser so that you are informed about the placing of cookies, can decide from case to case whether you accept them or always exclude the acceptance of cookies. However, if the acceptance of cookies is excluded, the functionality of our Platform will be seriously restricted.
5 Use of social media services
We are pleased when you publish news and information about your company and your actions on our Platform on social media services and recommend contents of our Platform on social media services.
To prevent the unwanted automatic transmission of personal data to providers of social media services, we have not integrated the corresponding buttons as plugins but exclusively as graphics (images) on our Platform. This means that it is only when you activate the social media services by sending news and information or recommendations of Platform contents and thus declare your agreement to communication with the social media service provider concerned that a connection with the social media service is established and personal data transferred. For the treatment of your personal data, please refer to the data protection note of the service provider in question (for instance, on Twitter: https://twitter.com/privacy).
6 Data security
We safeguard our Platform and other systems by technical and organisational measures against loss, destruction, access and changes to or dissemination of your data by unauthorised persons. Access to your account is only possible after the input of your personal password. Always treat your access information as a confidential matter and close the browser window when you end the communication with us, especially if you use the computer jointly with other persons.
7 Right to information; correction, blocking or deletion
Under the German Data Protection Act, you have the right to obtain information free of charge about the data stored concerning you personally.
At the end of the use relationship or when the user changes, Fairpartners immediately eliminates the possibility to access the user data.
You have a right to correction if the data stored about you is not correct. You can carry out the corrections yourself at any time in the portal.
You also have the right if necessary to have deleted the personal data relating to you. For example, when the storage of the data was illegal or knowledge of your personal data for performing the purpose of storage / for performing the tasks within the competence of the responsible (public) offices is no longer necessary.
Instead of the right of deletion, there is a right to the blocking of the data stored about you if retention periods stand counter to deletion, if there is reason to assume that the legitimate interests of the person concerned would be impaired by the deletion, if a deletion is not possible or only at disproportionate expense or if the correctness or incorrectness cannot be determined.
In case of permissible data storage, the storage is carried out for the duration of the periods allowed or prescribed by legal regulations.
8 Contact partner for data protection

If you still have questions on the acquisition, processing or use of your personal data, on information, correction, blocking or deletion of data and the revocation of permission given or when you wish to be sent a “Verzeichnis für Jedermann“ (“List for Everybody”), please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
